SAKURA International Clinic Tokyo is a primary care clinic centered on General Medicine.
We provide initial care for:
- Fever, cough, sore throat, and other cold-like symptoms
- Gastroenteritis, stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea
- Minor injuries and burns
- General malaise and “not feeling well” checks
We mainly serve:
- International visitors to Japan, and
- Foreign residents in Japan who are not comfortable receiving care in Japanese
Please note:
- In principle, all services are provided as private medical care (self-pay)
Japanese public health insurance cannot be used
Depending on your travel insurance, you may be able to submit receipts and claim reimbursement yourself afterward - Our doctors are able to communicate in English

Pricing
Our private medical services are charged on a fee-for-service basis.
The final cost will depend on the examinations and procedures that the doctor judges necessary during your consultation.
＜Main Fees (determined during the consultation)＞
(All prices are listed as amount + consumption tax)
- Consultation Fee: JPY 20,000 + tax
- Prescription Issuance: JPY 3,000 + tax
- Intravenous Therapy: JPY 10,000 + tax
- Infection Test: JPY 10,000 + tax
- Rapid Blood Test: JPY 10,000 + tax
- Urine Test: JPY 5,000 + tax
- Wound Treatment: JPY 5,000 + tax
- Referral Letter to Another Hospital: JPY 10,000 + tax
Medications are not included in the above fees.
Prescription medicines are dispensed at an outside pharmacy and paid for separately there.

The following surcharges apply depending on the time and day of your visit:
- After-hours surcharge (appointments after 6:00 pm):
JPY 10,000 + tax - Weekend surcharge (appointments on Saturday or Sunday):

Takahiro Azuma
Dr. Azuma Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine.
During medical school, founded a one-on-one tutoring school and served as its President and CEO.
Completed initial clinical training at Okinawa Chubu Hospital, followed by senior residency specializing in pediatric surgery at Juntendo University.
Subsequently worked as a management strategy consultant at a global consulting firm before founding Medi-Engine Co., Ltd.
Certified occupational physician by the Japan Medical Association.
